Work on Scranton Manufacturing expansion behind but progressing

Scranton Manufacturing broke ground in late June on a new 56,000 square foot addition to its existing Scranton facility. John Pemble and his employees have the contract for the dirt work. Pictured is Monte McAlister operating the bulldozer.

The wet summer weather has put the construction project behind schedule but with good weather forecast this week, the work is expected to progress at a rapid pace.
Scranton Manufacturing expects to add 75 jobs to its workforce in the 160’ x 350’ addition. The new employees will be involved in the assembly, painting and wiring departments.  ~The Scranton Journal
